Roadshows

The IRO has launched a programme of ‘Roadshows’, aimed at strengthening relations between the centre, the IRO’s seven Area Councils and their respective members and allowing colleagues the opportunity to question members of the IRO’s senior management team, led by Chief Executive Chris Daughton. The ‘Roadshows’ also provide clarity regarding the IRO’s key aims and objectives moving forward, ensuring commonality and helping promote the benefits of membership and the Professional Development Programme as it adapts and evolves.

The North East staged the inaugural event in February, with a special thank you to all those who attended, joining Chris Daughton, IRO North East Area Council Chair Jason Wade and IRO Board Members Sarah Kendall and Mike Hogg for useful discussions about the future direction of the Institution, with excellent feedback received and a number of recommendations already actively implemented.
