Welcome
Welcome to the pages of the IRO Scotland Area Council. As well as providing an introduction to the members of the IRO Area Council for Scotland, perhaps most importantly, these pages give details of forthcoming events. Recent events have included visits to the Network Rail Signalling Simulator and Signal Box at Perth and to the Network Rail Training Centre at Larbert. Planning for the events programme for autumn/winter 2010/2011 is currently underway.
The Scotland Area has members from a wide range of occupations and organisations and we are very keen to welcome new members who want to take part in events and hopefully become students on the IRO Professional Development Programme.
