Roadshows
The IRO has launched a programme of ‘Roadshows’, aimed at strengthening relations between the centre, the IRO’s seven Area Councils and their respective members and allowing colleagues the opportunity to question members of the IRO’s senior management team, led by Chief Executive Chris Daughton. The ‘Roadshows’ also provide clarity regarding the IRO’s key aims and objectives moving forward, ensuring commonality and helping promote the benefits of membership and the Professional Development Programme as it adapts and evolves.
The South West played host to the Roadshow programme in June, with a special thank you to all those who attended, joining Chris Daughton, IRO South West Area Council Chair Lawrie Hall and IRO Board Members Sarah Kendall and Chris Leah for useful discussions about the future direction of the Institution. The Roadshow was directly followed by a special ‘Question Time’ event, held at Brunel’s Old Station, Temple Meads, Bristol, and chaired by South West Area Council member Clive Fletcher-Wood.
