Louise Gale: Young Operators

Louise is the Pricing & NRS Administrator for Southern, working in Retail Development. Prior to this she began her railway career with Southern's Customer Experience Department back in June 2010. Louise has worked in administration in the private education sector, and in retail merchandising for a national conservation charity. She has completed her Undergraduate Degree in BSc Sociology at the University of Bristol. Louise is an Affiliate Member of the IRO, is the IRO Liaison for Young Railway Professionals, IRO South East Area Council Member and Chair of IRO Young Operators.

The IRO is also a part of the Young Railway Professionals, a networking organisation for all young people in the railways. This cross-industry organisation brings together young people from all disciplines within the rail industry. The Young Railway Professionals aims to bring together younger members from various railway institutions which include the CILT, IET, IMechE, IRO, IRSE, and the PWI.
