IRO membership is not only beneficial to the individual but also to employers, helping staff meet the very highest professional standards.

Membership also allows benchmarking across the industry and access to a wealth of expertise, ensuring your organisation is at the forefront of operational best practice.

A number of industry employers have corporate subscriptions to the Institution which cover the subscriptions of any of their employees graded as Associate or Affiliate.

If you are employed by any of the above companies, you do not need to send any payment with your application for membership.

If, after grading by the Area Membership Committee, you are graded Affiliate or Associate, you will continue in membership without any payment being required. If, however, you are graded a full Member of the Institution, then you will be required to pay an annual subscription of £70.00 as your membership falls outside the scope of your employer’s sponsorship scheme.
